Ian is an experienced and well regarded illustrator, who aims to communicate ideas through a semi- abstract visual language.
His illustrations are produced by combining drawn elements, scanned textures and computer generated imagery. Stylistically the work is influenced by mid 20th century graphic design and sculpture.
Ian went to Kingston University (BA Graphic Design & Illustration) and Manchester Metropolitan University (MA Communication Design). Ian is pathway leader for Illustration on the BA Design & Visual Arts course at Stockport College.
